Hooper Memorial Taboo

The Hoopers gathered for Memorial Day weekend, to talk, play taboo, and visit the cemeteries. Zak, V, and I tented it in my Aunt's and Uncle's back yard. After visiting the Hooper family headstones, we continued on to the Johnson and O'Neil side. Zak's family are almost all in the same cemetery in Richfield.

Four Stops

In preparation for one of my sisters move to southern Utah, Zak, V, and I traveled from place to place, visiting family and enjoying ourselves along the way.

V was so close to being mobile. She scooted on hard surfaces, rocked on her hands and knees when trying to reach for an object, and tried to pull herself up using people and furniture. She met her second cousin, L, and spent time with both sides of the family for our big adventure. Our families showered birthday celebrations on me with birthday cake and other surprises.

All in all, we visited the Porters, Hoopers, Porters, and them went to the cabin. With an infant. I think next time we'll try one stop at a time, but we had so much fun, and loved seeing everyone.

Sundays in Springtime

Every six months our congregation combines with other congregations in the area to hear from our leaders, for Stake Conference. Lately they've broadcast the meeting to various church buildings and multiple rooms. It worked well to be in one of the smaller rooms (with the comfy chairs) with a tired baby before she fell asleep. As the meeting ended she fell asleep, and Daddy just wanted to cuddle with her.
